June 13, Prof. Lohani served as a Technical Committee Member for QCE 25, IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing and Engineering (QCE). Thanks to all sub-reviewers: Yayu Mo, Lin Ding.
Yayu will continue his research as a summer graduate research assistant and pursue his PhD in the group from the Fall 2025.
May 17. Prof. Lohani served as a co-advisor and committee member for the MS thesis, “Noise-embedded Image Processing Based on Quantum Data Encodings“, written by Yayu Mo. Congrats Yayu for a huge acomplishment!
April 21. Prof. Lohani served as a committee member for the MS thesis, “Load Forecasting and Load Modeling in Power Systems”, written by Han Guo. Congrats Han for a huge acomplishment!
April 10. Prof. Lohani served as a committee member for the PhD dissertation, Data Encoding, Compilation, and Algorithms for Quantum Machine Learning, written by Aviraj. Congrats to Dr. Aviraj Sinha!
Feb 24. Prof. Lohani is honored to receive the Sam Taylor Fellowship Award 2025. The funding will be dedicated to research in Quantum AI and Engineering.

Dr. Lohani will start in Fall 2024 as an Assistant Professor in the ECE Department at Lyle School of Engineering, SMU, and also as an affiliated Faculty of the Data Science Cluster at O'Donnell Data Science and Research Institute, SMU.
